Keeping in mind the theme "One world, one language, want universal Bangla Sign Language", the Bhola District Administration, Department of Social Services and the Disability Services and Support Center jointly celebrated Bengali Sign Language Day 2025 on February 7.
On the occasion of the day, a rally started from Bhola's Children's Disability Center at 10:00 am and circled the important roads of the city and ended at the same place.
A discussion meeting was organized at the Bhola's Children's Disability Center auditorium at 11:00 am.
Mr. Mobasher Alam, Additional District Magistrate, Bhola was present as the chief guest.
Mr. Rajat Suvra Sarkar, Deputy Director, District Social Services Office, Bhola presided over the event.
Mr. Kazi Golam Kabir, Assistant Director, District Social Services Office, Bhola, delivered the welcome speech. Consultant Physiotherapy of the center Mr. Md. Saidur Rahman.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bhola's Children's Disability Center and Editor of Bhola Times Mr. Shawkat Hossain, member of the Board of Trustees Mr. Abu Taher, Professor Parveen Akhter, President of the Coordination Council of the City Social Service Office, Bhola Mr. Khaleda Khanam and others spoke.
At the end of the discussion meeting, the children's pleasant cultural performance impressed everyone present.
