Training in various trades is provided to educated, semi-educated, unemployed youth and young women through Skill Development Training Centre, City Social Service Office, Bhola. Students are admitted in 2 sessions (of 06 months duration) in January-June and July-December every year. The admission process for January-June session starts from 01 December and the admission process for July-December session starts from 01 June. According to the syllabus followed under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, the results are evaluated and certificates are given by the board at the end of the training.

2. Marginalized people's quality of life improvement program: Subject to receiving the allocation, under the project entitled to improve the quality of life of marginalized people of Bangladesh, soft skills training is being completed in Daulatkhan upazila under Bhola district. So far 154 people have received soft skill training and 124 people (20 masters and 104 apprentices) have been given long-term training.
3. Training on improving the quality of life of the Bede community: 50 days training in computer, tailoring science and beautification trade is provided to improve the quality of life of the Bede people through the Bhola District Social Service Office. 25,000/- grant for certificate, training allowance and rehabilitation at the end of training.
4. Training on improving the quality of life of backward people: Subject to receiving allocation, training in computer, tailor science and beautification trade is provided for 50 days to improve the quality of life of backward people through Bhola District Social Service Office. 25,000/- grant for certificate, training allowance and rehabilitation at the end of training.
5. Training on improving the quality of life of the Hijra community: Subject to the allocation, Bhola District Social Service Office provides 50-day training in computer, tailoring science and beautification trade to improve the quality of life of Hijra people. 25,000/- grant for certificate, training allowance and rehabilitation at the end of training.
6. Socio-economic training: Socio-economic training is provided to microcredit beneficiaries through RSS and rural mother center program through 07 upazila social service offices of Bhola district subject to allocation.
Subject to receipt of allocation, socio-economic training is provided to micro-loan beneficiaries for various periods through City Social Services Office, Bhola.
